We went to a concert at St George's Hall - just a 30 second stroll from the hotel. A lot of redevelopment work taking place currently. Some lovely old buildings but we didn't get the chance to explore the shopping areas. Wetherspoons is only a 5 min stroll away. We ate there and it was excellent.

Plenty to see and do, we went specifically for a show but there are various museums, theatres and attractions. Also recommend having a curry as Bradford is supposed to be the curry capital of the UK.
Only issue is major roadworks are going on in the city centre in preparation for city of culture in 2025 making navigation tricky for non-locals.

Bradford has some beautiful buildings and probably in it's hay day shone
The city has many homeless young people and my heart felt for these youngsters. I did give money I don't like these new shopping malls the food was terrible there doesn't seem to be much choice in cuisine the road system was chaotic and at times frightening with so much homelessness...

We were there on a theatre visit. The city is in the middle of major refurbishment in the centre and many of the roads were closed to traffic but we were able to walk from the hotel to the theatre quite comfortably.
I like the look of the city and everyone we met seemed friendly.

Lots of areas to visit and close to places like: Saltaire and Haworth (Bronte Country) There is a lot of work being done in Bradford at the moment. I think this is because next year it is the City of Culture and they are preparing for it. I will definitely go back.

Didn't spend much time in Bradford itself which is presently in a mess preparing for city of culture in 2025. A nightmare to drive in. We were actually visiting Saltaire which was pleasant and enjoyed visits to Salts Mill as well as East Ribblesden Hall near Keighley. Mos importantly we were able to spend time with oldest friends now living in Saltaire. The one thing we really wanted to see in Bradford was the National Media Museum - and that was closed!
The wi-fi signal was very strong. It just worked straight away. Usually, in hotels, you have to sign in, giving personal contact details before the wi-fi will work, but that was not the case here. As there are no staff, I was a little nervous that codes and key information would not be available until the day of arrival. I began my journey to Bradford that morning with no more than hope in my heart. I needn't have worried, as the messages came through and the check-in procedure worked well.
I'm glad that I finally got to book the Best Western Bradford Guide Post Hotel for this visit to Bradford. I stayed there for a couple of nights and I loved the comfortable king size bed and the tasty breakfast. The staff were all friendly and helpful - thank you Emily for being so willing to help and smiling. My room number 15 was quiet and the shower bath was powerful and good. I loved the location too because of it being close to where I wanted to go and had plenty of car parking.
The Hotel was excellent, outstanding building in the heart of Bradford. The Hotel had Bar for guests and did food if required. The Bed was comfortable room was very clean and kept in good condition. Value for money for our 2 night stay over. We had to leave fast due to train strikes and trains been cancelled but would have enjoyed staying the extra night if trains was ok. We will definately return when we next visit Bradford. Thank you to all staff for looking after us.
the property was clean tidy and set out beautifully! the staff were lovely and welcoming. I booked this for my partners birthday and it definitely made out weekend special. the overall experience was amazing and I would highly recommend these apartments to anyone looking for a delightful stay in Bradford. definitely one of the best hotels/apartments I have been to before!
Hospitality was spot on, the staff at hotel made us feel as if we were at home I was travelling with 33 people including kids for wedding in Bradford through out the stay Tia and 2 more lovely ladies I forgot there name 🙈 looked after us special shout out to Josh and the manger Jay these lads made sure everything went smooth for us
Nice comfortable room. Well heated. Very clean. Great situation in the centre of Bradford. Helpful, friendly staff. Good quality breakfast and lunch and dinner available too although I didn't have them. A beautiful, we maintained Victorian hotel with modern comforts.
We liked the size of the room, it was very spacious and the view outside the window was pretty with trees and nature. It was helpful that the hotel was dog friendly, and there were extra facilities available such as the leisure center with a gym and pool.
Free parking and reasonable rates make this a good hotel for travelling tourists. Well located for transport but also reasonably quiet for so close to Shipley. Overlooking the canal was nice. Walking distance to all that Saltaire offers.
The hosts cancelled our booking on the day claiming "Maintenance issues " with no apology given. We were already in Bradford when they cancelled.
DO NOT BOOK HERE!
We had to book another hotel for the night
The hotel is in ideal position for work commuters in Bradford. It is kept tidy and clean and the rooms are comfortable. The owner was very responsive to my questions. I highly recommend this accommodation.
Fantastic Hotel. Beautiful, great location.
Staff very nice, breakfast good.
Bed very comfortable.
Heated towel rail in bathroom.
Hope to come back if visiting Bradford or Leeds.
Liked the look of hotel from outside, and reception area.
Pub food although not want we were wanting was tasty.
Emily from reception was wonderful on the run up to our stay.
Breakfast was very good every thing you would want was there better than some of the more expensive hotels we have stayed in and plates was warm so food wasn't cold
Overall an OK hotel, reasonably comfortable with 2 small kids. Car park was right next to the hotel and at £4 or a night, was very convenient. Friendly staff.
