Plas Penaeldroch Manor is wonderfully pet-friendly, and our children were thrilled to play with Lola, the manor's friendly dog, who quickly became a favorite companion. Stunning location, surrounded by the slate hills. The staff were very accommodating considering we arrived very late (2am). The beds were comfortable enough and the pillows were great. The room was massive, there were four of use sharing and plenty of space. Didn't hear any noise from outside and the room temp was perfect. Went to a cafe across the road for breakfast on the Sunday morning and it was brill, really nice place and good food.
