Loved the newness and modern design, plus it was VERY clean. Lots of thoughtful details, even though it's on the minimalist side of design. Full length mirror, USB and regular plugs, huge shower, great toiletries (Davines brand), comfortable bed, helpful staff. The room was on the smaller side, but decent for a large city in Europe. If you have several bags it could be pretty tight. The location is very close to Kensington Gardens & Palace and Hyde Park. About a 10 min walk from Paddington Station (Heathrow Express). About a 10 min walk to closest Tube stations, but several bus stops are even closer. A couple of restaurants are on the block and many more just a few blocks away. It's a quiet street, but still very central. We walked to Notting Hill and Portobello Road easily. Luggage storage was easy. Elevators worked well, no long waits. We didn't do breakfast, so can't speak to that. If you open the window you can hear trains, but it wasn't very loud and did not disturb us. With the window closed we didn't even notice it. We would happily stay here again and stay with the Sonder brand again. The price this time of year (shoulder season) was very reasonable for a huge, expensive city like London.

The location is very convenient with 2 tube stations in the vicinity, so very good connections to anywhere in London. The staff was very helpful and friendly. The breakfast is great and the lady who manages it is all over the place answering promptly to any request.
