While the room was on the smaller side, the bed was a king and we were very comfortable. Rooms are generally small in NYC and this was the norm. I will definitely stay here again.

Shared bathroom better than expected - we never had to wait, it was clean and private (ie no bathroom stalls, you enter the bathroom and lock it).

It's located in a great spot, the staff was very friendly and the bed excellent. Of course the room was not very spacious, but this is common in Manhattan. I've seen some comments regarding the noise, but maybe it depends on the floor? It was very quiet in my case.
