Hotellid piirkonnas Governors Island (New York)

Aia ja linnavaatega Collective Governors Island asub New Yorgis, 6,3 km kaugusel 11. septembri riiklikust memoriaalist ja muuseumist ning 7 km kaugusel ostukeskusest One World Trade Center. I loved mostly everything about our stay. The location was great, my surroundings were peaceful quiet and relaxing. It was so pleasantly strange to be so close to the city and have that much peace! The facilities were kept very clean so we were extremely satisfied with that. Initially, we were worried about how the outdoor bathrooms might be...they were great. The Byredo soaps...like a spa experience. I even looked them up online to purchase for my own home. I loved the comfort of our journey tent and the bed was incredible! We had everything we needed right in our little tent and it was so great to experience the sounds of nature (crickets and the water) and having the luxury of being "indoors" while still feeling like you were outside. I slept like a baby.
